Synopsis: A young black woman, Anika, coping with depression and in mourning the loss of her brother by police brutality pulls herself together to host a party for her liberal friends on the day of the 2016 presidential election. When Trump takes the lead, everyone exhibits various stages of grief: rage, denial, etc, Anika's friends leave, exhausted and defeated, Anika is left alone in her apartment and the weight of the world crashing down on her She negotiates between life and death, challenged to find strength among the ruins of hope in order to overcome the feeling of powerlessness
